Bowling has a long and rich history, and believe it or not, it’s actually one of today’s most popular sports with its popularity continuing to grow in part thanks to great bowling balls such as the Storm Anarchy. Some people speculate that a variation of the sport was being played as long 3200 years ago, when a British anthropologist found a collection of objects in the tomb of a child, which appeared to be used in a crude form of bowling. Others claim the birthplace of bowling to have originated in Germany around 300 AD. And there is a great deal of evidence that in 1366 King Edward the Third had to outlaw the sport to keep his troops focused on archery practice.
